Description

Quetiapine is used to treat nervous, emotional, and mental conditions (e.g., schizophrenia). It may be used alone or together with other medicines (e.g., lithium or divalproex) to treat symptoms of bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness) or mania that is part of bipolar disorder. This medicine should not be used to treat behavioral problems in older adult patients who have dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

Quetiapine extended-release tablets is also used together with other medicines to treat major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults.

This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription.
