Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

Possible signs and symptoms of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy include:

  • Shortness of breath, especially during exercise or exertion
  • Chest pain, especially during exercise or exertion
  • Fainting, especially during exercise or exertion
  • Dizziness
  • Fatigue
  • Heart palpitations — the sensation of rapid, fluttering or pounding heartbeats
