Pemphigus

Photographs showing pemphigus vulgaris of the mouth and skin

Pemphigus is a rare skin disorder characterized by blistering of your skin and mucous membranes. The two most common types are pemphigus vulgaris, which involves painful sores and blisters on your skin and in your mouth, and pemphigus foliaceus, which involves itchy, crusted sores or blisters that first appear on your face and scalp.
