Complications

Complications caused by a primary immunodeficiency disorder vary, depending on what particular disorder you have. They can include:

  • Recurrent infections
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Damage to heart, lungs, nervous system or digestive tract
  • Slowed growth
  • Increased risk of cancer
